The Great Flood is a film that combines the natural disaster and science fiction genres. The story is about a massive flood that hit the entire world, leaving humanity struggling to survive in very bad conditions. An Na (Kim Da Mi) and Hee Jo (Park Hae Soo) have to face increasingly severe floods. An Na is trapped in her slowly sinking apartment, while she is an AI researcher. On the other hand, Hee Jo, a rescue worker, is assigned to save An Na. 

However, there is a mystery behind the reason why Hee Jo had to save An Na. The Great Flood has been anticipated since it was announced in 2022. From what we know, Netflix has only revealed the two main stars of this film: Kim Da Mi as An Na and Park Hae Soo as Hee Zo/Hee Jo. The film The Great Flood was actually scheduled for release in 2023, but unfortunately there was a delay. So, this film will be broadcast in the fourth quarter of 2024, around October to December.
